About Our Practice
Holcombe Family Medicine is unique in that we do not contract with hospital systems or health insurance carriers. This ensures that your healthcare is not influenced by outside interests and allows for more transparency, affordability, little to no wait time, and longer visits when needed. As a cash-only primary care facility, you’ll know your costs up front with no surprises. We’ll provide you with all of the necessary paperwork to file with your insurance if you choose to request reimbursement.
You’ll see right away that there is no waiting room in our office – your appointment with Dr. Holcombe will start promptly and you will be his primary focus because he understands that your time is valuable! He will take the time to get to know you as a person and understand your unique medical needs, and partners with you to manage your overall health in a way that best suits you. About Dr. Holcombe
Dr. Kevin Holcombe earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Florida in 1998 and completed a Family Practice residency at Greenville Health System (now Prisma Health) in Greenville, SC in 2001. He also earned the Degree of Fellow in Family Medicine. Dr Holcombe served in both the South African Army and the US Army as an intelligence officer before going to medical school.
He has extensive experience in family practice, urgent care, as well as emergency medicine. He spent 3 years in the Florida Keys, working in 2 Emergency Departments, a local Urgent Care, and his own private practice, before returning to the mainland of Florida. He has served on various state and hospital medical committees. He has spent much of his adult life in Florida and has been a resident of Merritt Island since February 2021 with his wife, Elizabeth, and 4 of their 6 children. The summer of 2022 they will be down to 2 children left at home when the twins finish high school and go to college.
